The Fun Mouse doesn't adopt mice out often. The reason for this is because I feel it's imperative to a successful breeding program to have adequate updates on my mice. Without these updates I can not insure my mice are of the highest quality possible, are as healthy as possible, will live as long as possible, and that I know everything possible about the lines. Unfortunately, even the most well-intended people do not give adequate updates. Therefore I've chosen to only adopt to individuals that I've known for a sufficient amount of time. If you are interested in quality mice from well tracked lines and you are willing to put forth the effort to insure you would be a good adopter, I recommend joining the Forum. This will not only give you a plethora of information to help you with your mice, but it will also help me get to know you and feel comfortable adopting to you (it will also help insure that I'm the right breeder for you!). This does mean that the wait is long. Expect it to take months before I am willing to adopt to you and possibly months more before I have any available. However, this is a small sacrifice to make when helping insure that you are getting the best quality pet. Not only are my mice of the best health possible, but they are also extremely friendly, unlike many other sources to obtain mice. I hold extremely high stndards for myself and my mice. If you are not willing to wait for the best possible mouse (unlike getting a mouse quickly from a pet shop that is extremely likely to be unhealthy, possibly die extremely quickly, and likely ill mannered), then I'm not the best place for you to get mice from.
I feel that having this stipulation will help me insure that I will get adequate updates on my mice. Those that are looking for a quick, cheap pet that likely will not last as long nor be as tame will go elsewhere :). Thanks for everyones understanding. |
